V’s Place celebrated its Grand Opening on Monday, January 23rd, 2012. Following is the list of contributors and events that marked the occasion.

GRAND OPENING!

 

I am so happy to welcome you to V’s Place: Grand Opening on the fortuitous occasion of the Chinese New Year.

V’s Place made its debut on January 1st of this year, and is ecstatic to open its doors today to guest contributors across artistic genres. We are also celebrating this event with an assortment of hidden prizes and a door prize of The Dead Shoe Society, an anthology that features my story “The Deadest One” along with several other talented authors.

Please, come along and let me direct you through the doors of V’s Place:

Judith van Praag takes us on the road while her thrifty mom takes driving lessons in “Reading Between the Lines.”

Raymond Gibson brings lyric to an Edvard Munch painting with “Between Bed and Clock.”

Christi Craig serves up a hot piece of flash fiction in “The Continental.”

Authors and artists such as Beth Hoffman, Chuck Wendig, Luis do Amaral, among many, many more, share their thoughts on creativity, art and writing on the Rumors page.

The Music Stage is host to two Madison, WI bluegrass bands The Oak Street Ramblers and The Mad City Jug Band.

The Gallery walls feature images by Claudia Olivos and Sergio Olivos M., Michael Siward, Luis do Amaral, and Jason Tiffany.

Prizes:

I have hidden four Easter eggs behind images around V’s Place. To find the prizes you must look through the site and click on images to locate a link to a PRIZE! page. To enter the drawing for that prize, simply leave a comment on that page.

Winners will be announced tomorrow at 2 pm Central.

ALL blog followers and those who comment Today will be entered into a random drawing to win a copy of The Dead Shoe Society.
